Yep! It's finally here! The next TYWC contest. Enjoy!

Here's what you have to do:

  • write a poem on the topic: A garden in autumn. Try and appeal to all five senses, sound, smell, taste, sight, and touch. It doesn't have to be too long. We certainly don't want to spend 2 days reading it!
  • write an article (composition) about autumn. This is quite a wide topic, so try and limit it a little. Like what people do in autumn, what animals do in autumn, what does autumn mean to you, etc. About 3 paragraphs would be fine, a little more if you want.
  • Please complete BOTH these!

    How do we judge them?

We judge them according to the following:

  • Did you use interesting words?
  • Did you use all 5 senses?
  • Did you make it the right length?
  • How was your spelling and punctuation?
  • And of course, did you have interesting ideas?
