  • July 2010 - Karahan Öztürk (Middle East Technical University, daily supervision by Bedir Tekinerdogan, co-supervisor together with Ali Doğru), finished his MSc thesis on the topic "Modeling and Analysis of Scaleability in Software as a Service Platforms".

  • June 2010 - 18-20 students apply for doing MSc study in the Bilsen group. Murat Acar, Mehmet Ali Abbasoğlu, Aytuğ Murat Aydın, Kemal Eroğlu, Özlem Başak İskender, Murat Tuncer will start their MSc research in the Bilsen group. In addition Nagehan Pala Er will start as a PhD candidate.

  • 14 June 2010 - The project "I-Care - Intelligent Collaboration Area for Improving Human Welfare" carried out by group consisting of Abdurrahim Birbilen, Mehmet Ali Abbasoğlu, Kemal Eroğlu and Fatih Lütfi Karaman supervised by Bedir Tekinerdogan has been selected as the best Microsoft Senior Design Project in the Computer Engineering Department at Bilkent University.  

  • 29 May 2010 - The group of students İlknur Mızrak, Murat Kubur, Arman Hilmioğlu supervised by Bedir Tekinerdogan won the 3. prize in the Turkey IBM Software Design Contest with the software system "SINA - Web-Based Health Care Support System".

  • 12 April 2010 - The group of students Abdurrahim Birbilen, Mehmet Ali Abbasoğlu, Kemal Eroğlu and Fatih Lütfi Karaman supervised by Bedir Tekinerdogan reached the finals of the Microsoft Imagine Cup, with the software system I-Care - Intelligent Collaboration Area for Improving Human Welfare".

  • April 2010 - The group of students Enes Taylan, Onur Ozcan, Emrah Ayanoğlu, Batuhan Sayış  supervised by Bedir Tekinerdogan  reached the top 20 of Turkey Microsoft Imagine Cup Software Design Contest with the project Service-Oriented Approach for Environment Monitoring to Optimize Resource Usages Students.   

  • 22 May 2010 - Bilsen organizes Second Turkish Workshop on Model-Driven Software Development, Ankara.  

  • April 2010 - Bilsen starts project with Cybersoft on Global Software Development. It is expected that 2-3 MSc and 1 PhD student will work on the project topics.

  • 25 January 2010 - Workshop on Documenting Software Architecture of Command Control Systems, Havelsan, Ankara, Turkey.

  • 4-5 November 2010 - Bilsen organizes the Third National Conference on Software Architecture Design

  • 2 June 2010 - Prof. Jorge L. Díaz-Herrera, Dean at Rochester Institute of Technology, USA held a Bilsen talk on "Cyberinfrastructure: Supporting Scientific Discovery & Innovation in the 21st Century"

  • 27-2-2010 - Özlem Albayrak from the CTIS Bilkent University held a Bilsen talk on "Incomplete Software Requirements and Assumptions Made by Software Engineers".

  • 19 January 2009 - Bedir Tekinerdogan held a Bilsen talk on "Defining Perspectives for Software Engineering Research and Education in Turkey" at Cyberpark in Ankara
