Software Product Line Engineering Report

The second part of this assignment will complete the product line engineering report by discussing and presenting examples of applications that are derived from the product line architecture.

Report Evaluation Criteria

The report will be evaluated based on the following criteria:

• Layout: Title page, structure, style, references, numbering, captions etc.

• Update of the chapters in the midterm project

• SPLE Transition Strategy

• Organization Structure

• Domain Design (Product Line Architecture Views)
  - Decomposition View for PL Architecture
  - Uses View for PL Architecture
  - Deployment View for PL Architecture
  - OVM to Architectural Design Mapping

• Application Engineering
  For two different products
  - Application requirements (textual, use case, feature diagram)
  - Application design (four views)
  - Application variability model

• Discussion (Critical Analysis)
  - PMI Analysis on the adopted PLE process

• Conclusion

The results of the midterm project and the final project need thus to be integrated into one complete report. There is no page limit for the report. 

The title page should include the group number, student names with student ids. In addition a summary sheet that shows the contribution of each student should be provided.

Presentation

A PowerPoint presentation of the report needs to be prepared and submitted to the instructor before the day of presentation. The presentation should be done by one student who has not yet presented. The presentation should take 15 minutes (strict), including questions.
