In The Netherlands I have been long time active in the Twente Association of Turkish Academics (chair) for supporting Turkish migrants in higher education, and in the Dutch Foundation for Turkish Education (board member) for organizing Turkish language courses in primary schools. Further I have been an active writer for Dutch-Turkish newspapers such as Damla and Platform.  In Ankara, I have been supporting the Dutch Language and Culture School (NTC Ankara, board member) for teaching Dutch to primary school children.
