My own
quotes....
Science has an
intrinsic aesthetic value. A fundamental aesthetic principle is "unity in
variety and variety in unity". Science seeks to achieve "unity in variety"
by forming general theories for the perceived experiences from the nature.
The nature, on its turn, is an ordered "variety in unity".

As our knowledge increases, our awareness of the extent of our ignorance
increases in parallel. This necessarily results in humility, a basic ethical
character trait. With humility we open the gate of wisdom and provide an
appropriate attitude for acquiring knowledge. This shows the complementary
interplay between science and ethics.

Usually every problem can be solved in many alternative ways. Based on this,
we observe the following:
- An ignorant person does not know any solution to the problem.
- A knowledgeable person does know some alternative solutions but cannot
evaluate these appropriately.
- A wise person does know many alternative solutions and is able to
prioritize and select an appropriate solution among these.
- An enlightened person only knows the best solution.

wisdom is a process and necessarily not a destination in itself. Through
constant commitment to the principles of ethics and aesthetics, this process
will guarantee deep fulfillment for the past days, for today and for the
days to come.
