+====== Heterogenous parallel and distributed computing with Java (HPDCJ) ======
+This is a CHIST-ERA project joint with University of Warsaw, IBM Research, and Queens University
+of Belfast. The project focuses on the ease of use and programmability of Java for distributed heterogeneous computing, in order to make it exploitable by the huge user base of mainstream computing. The project aims at enabling parallel computing within Java, with minimal change to the specifics of the language, transparently exposing parallelism using the Partitioned Global Address Space (PGAS) programming model. Such a solution simplifies programming on heterogeneous systems, by completely hiding the complexity of the architecture.
