Bilkent University Web-db Research Group aims to develop solutions for Web data management from a database point of view, as well as focusing on efficiency and effectiveness of Web-IR.

Our current research interests include

  • Domain-specific (a.k.a. topical/vertical) search engines
  • Web information extraction
  • Metadata based modeling and querying of Web resources
