I am the teaching assistant of the following courses this semester(Fall 2007):
CS 421 Computer Networks Office Hours: 10:40-12:30 Tuesday
CS 471 Numerical Methods Office Hours: 13:40-14:30 Thursday

Research

I work with Dr. Tugrul Dayar. Currently i work on iterative methods for Kronecker structured Markov chains.

I attended the Computational Methods with Applications conference that was held in Harrachov,Czech Republic from August 19th to 25th. I gave a talk titled Decompositional Analysis of Kronecker Structured Markov Chains. Here are the slides.

Publications

I.N.Bozkurt, O.Baglioglu and E.Uyar. Authorship Attribution: Performance of Various Features and Classification Methods. To appear in Proceedings of the 22nd International Symposium on Computer and Information Sciences(ISCIS'07),Ankara,Turkey,November 7-9, 2007. Developed as a course project for CS551 Pattern Recognition.

Personal

I like playing chess and it is my main activity if i'm not working. I try to play in tournaments in my spare time. I also like playing table tennis and reading comic books.
