Textbook: Object-Oriented Software
Engineering, Using UML, Patterns, and Java, 3rd Edition, by Bernd Bruegge
and Allen H. Dutoit, Prentice-Hall, 2010, ISBN-10: 0136066836.
Grading: Quizzes (20%), term project (40%), midterm (15%),
final exam (25%). Those who fail to get a minimum of 30% of the total grade
from the project or the final exam are likely to fail the course.
FZ grade policy: Those who get less than 30% of the quizzes
and/or 30% of the project will receive an FZ grade and will not be eligible
to take the final exam. These limits are strict.
Important dates. All deadlines are before
14:00.
- February 18, 2013: Submit information about project case.
- February 28, 2013: Quiz #1
- March 11, 2013: Deliver Analysis Report.
- March 21, 2013: Quiz #2
- April 4, 2013: Midterm
- April 8, 2013: Deliver Design Report.
- May 7, 2013: Deliver Final Report + Code.
- May 9-13, 2013: Presentations.
