Practical Tips for Software Developers

The Web is a great place to find answers to a lot of "how to" questions. For example, I recently searched for
- How to build a rustic shelf
- How to smoke a chuck roast
- How to replace a toilet flush
Although seeking answers for lifehacks is a fun process, it did not take too long to realize that I should probably also search for things that would help my professional development. Given my career, the obvious question to ask was "how to become a great programmer" which led to great blogs with valuable advice. In this talk, I mash my personal experiences with bullet points I crawled which I think may help software developers. It is my hope that you leave this presentation with some practical tips to improve your coding skills.
