Notes:
Normally get lower case version of character on key.
Press and hold SHIFT key, then press desired character to get uppercase version.
Note: CAPS LOCK key reverses this behaviour! Each time it is pressed it toggles between normal and reverse modes.

Arrow keys - mainly used to move "text cursor" around in application programs.
Ctrl & Alt keys - work like the shift key, i.e. press & hold while pressing another key, then release. Function varies depending on program currently running.
Function keys - action depends on specific program, although F1 can often be used to get HELP.
Multi-lingual usage: Some programs support multiple languages. Change the keyboard using the icon on the right end of the Task Bar.
