Each student will present at least one of the topics listed below during the semester. The idea is two-fold. First, to practice vital research and presentation skills, and, second, to tell everyone about the state-of-the-art in each of the topics. You are thus expected to research widely (using books, journals & Internet) and organise your findings in a concise and coherent manner. In addition to an oral presentation of the topic, I expect you to produce a webpage (or pages) devoted to the topic and including references to printed publications and links to online sites.
