Project Presentation Details
-
Check the assigned project list for the presentation dates of each project.
Every project group (or individual) will make a 1 lecture hour presentation
(40 minutes presentation + 10 minutes questions and discussion).
-
The presentation will introduce the project topic to the class (if it is a subject
covered in the lectures, the presentation should cover the additional material
related to the topic) and explain the implementation of the project and
present the results of the project to the class, in the form of images,
animations, etc. It is best to present the demonstrations in the class.
-
You should use MS Powerpoint and directly project from the computer to the screen.
Do not use hardcopy transparencies.
-
Group members may present the parts of a presentation. However, the presentation
should be logically subdivided into meaningfull parts. For example, alternating
group members presenting 2-3 slides is not a good presentation style.
-
Besides, it is also fine a single group member may make the whole presentation.
However, all group members should be in the class to answer the questions
of the audience.
-
The class should participate by asking meaningfull questions to the group members.
-
Attendance to the presentations are mandatory.
-
I assume all group members contributed to the project equally, unless otherwise stated.
