Announcements by Instructor

• Dec 10: The new deadline for Assignment 2 is Dec 26. I will announce the demo date later. You will get 20 % bonus if you add your simple protocol or modifications (in C++) to ns2. The weight of assignments is changed from 25 % to 30 % (15 % each).
• Nov 2: Midterm will be on Nov 16, 8:40 (classtime). We will start at 8:40 sharp. Midterm will finish at 10:30.
• Oct 31: I am adding some notes about the assignment into the corresponding clarifications file. Please check it from time to time.

• Oct 23: The new daedline for assignment 1 is Nov 6, Tuesday, classtime. Be prepared to make a demo in the class.
• Oct 23: You can install another routing ad hoc protocol instead of DSR, AODV, or OLSR, if you think it would be easier for you to make it work.
• Oct 19: Wireshark tool can be useful in debugging network problems. While doing part 1 of assignment 1, for example, you can benefit from wireshark to see network packets on the air or cable.
