The Wireless Networks Lab includes equipment to do experimental research and prototype application development in the area of wireless networks, mobile computing, short-range wireless networking, wireless ad hoc networks, wireless and wired P2P networks,  and wireless sensor networks.

The equipment includes desktop PCs with Bluetooth and 802.11 (WiFi) network cards; several pocket PC computers, Bluetooth and 802.11 compact flash network cards for pocket PCs, 802.11 and Bluetooth access points, and a Crossbow sensor network kit consisting of 30 sensor nodes.
