Objective

• An in-depth study of design and implementation issues in distributed database systems, together with a coverage of recent research directions.

Typical Grading

• Midterm: 35% (for undergraduate students) 15% (for graduate students)
• Term paper: 20% (for graduate students)
• Homeworks: 15%
• Final: 50%
