The goal of the Peer-to-Peer Systems Research Group at  Bilkent University is to investigate research issues in peer-to-peer systems and come up with solutions to the problems identified. The focus is  on databases, networking, and security aspects of peer-to-peer computing. The current projects include:  developing mechanisms and policies to prevent free-riding in peer-to-peer systems,  developing schemes to reduce the flooding overhead in unstructured peer-to-peer networks, and supporting peer-to-peer applications over wireless ad hoc networks.

We are looking for motivated graduate students. If you are interested please drop by or send us an email.
