AeroCast is a web service that aims to help people find the optimal flight tickets. It predicts the most suitable purchase and departure dates of the flights based on the traveller’s time and budget constraints and it shows statistical data about the flights. By using the AeroCast, the users will be able to find the purchase dates that the prices of the flights are predicted to be the lowest. Also, the users will be able to see which departure dates are expected to have low and stable prices. AeroCast will enable the users to track their searches and it will update the forecasts for the tracked routes and flights as the new data arrives. In addition to the airfare forecasts, AeroCast will visualize the flight data on a graph where the users will be able to gain more insight about the airfares. Therefore, AeroCast Project will aim to provide an effective tool for tracking the airfares and forecasting the ideal time to purchase the tickets.

AndLit is a project which aims creating a smart earpiece which is going to have various functions based on image processing related features. The main feature which AndLit is going to have is face recognition. By taking a picture from the button in the earpiece the user will be able to recognize people's faces. If the people in front of the user is not in the database then it is saved as e new person with a name given by the user using the mic positioned in the earpiece. If the person is already in the database then the user will be listening to his/her name in his ears from the earpiece. If there are more then one person in the taken picture then the person in the middle will be selected to be processed. The face recognition process is handled in a smartphone connected to the earpiece by wireless. Also data analysis and classification is done in the smartphone. Text to speech is another feature which allows users to turn text images to voice just by taking a picture of the text. This way the users can read different stuff like books but even other texts which are readable. An interesting ability of AndLit is that it can synchronize with the social media accounts that the user possesses. This way the search is not done only through the people who are saved from the user but also for people who have social media accounts. It goes even further allowing users to share their data in a pool/network giving them the opportunity to know people who have shared their data too with the cost of being shared as well so you don't need a fresh start, just join a pool.

Anna’s Reflection is a single player, offline, first person, room escape/adventure game powered by Unity and will be made for PC. It has a 3D designed world where the player has to interact with the main character's reflection in order to solve the puzzles. Unlike of its kinds, Anna’s Reflection features two kinds of environment: Real rooms, and their reflection. Which we also call, imaginary rooms.

Augma is a mobile-app which lets you leave location based notes that come to life with the power of Augmented Reality technology. You can leave pretty much anything you want ranging from a plain text to pictures you draw. After you have left your note somewhere, other people who look through their phones cameras will be able to see your creation. These notes will be time limited and people who see these notes will be able to influence their time limits by upvoting. You can think of Augma notes like a graffiti that doesn’t get you to jail since it’s in another dimension.

Our software will generate bump and physically based rendering maps using a specifically trained neural network. It will be able to identify the topological properties of the surface, as well as the material properties using a single photograph. Our product will be the used in the server to make the required operations, and communicate with the front-end applications on various platforms. We believe our software will provide rather large benefits for the industry, as the previous solution to this kind of topographical analysis required expensive methods which require personnel with expertise, expensive equipment, and time.

Our project is a mobile application as a solution to ease meeting blood needs as soon as possible. Application includes maps for user that wants to help to who needs specific blood type , to reach the hospitals or relevant places . Also , application sends notifications when a blood need occurs , to users in the limited zone . Moreover , the project offers a few emergency records of people who accepted to help before , to access familiar and certain help immediately when an emergency situation occurs.

Consigliere will be an iOS application that will work as a dynamic and context-aware daily planner and organizer. The user will simply need to enter whatever errands they have to run for that day and the application will provide an optimal plan for the user to complete these errands.
The optimal plan will be designed by taking the distance and traffic intensity information of the necessary roads into account. In addition, the app will estimate how much time the user will spend on an errand by analyzing the busyness of the location and the nature of the user’s task. The app will also periodically check the traffic status of the relevant roads and the crowdedness of the locations in order to update the daily plan dynamically and inform the user of the opportunities to complete their errands in a timely manner. Consigliere differs  from regular map applications and daily planners by its suggestive and dynamic nature. Regular map applications fall short at optimizing the efficient route in terms of time and distance. Similarly, regular daily planners only notify the user about the upcoming  tasks but they do not offer time minimization by means of route optimization.

The game will be developed for the gaming platform Steam and will be developed in one of the most modern and popular game engines in the market: Unity 2017 © [1]. The development of the game will include features purchased from the asset store of Unity and features that we will create from scratch. The player starts the game with their dog. They find themselves in a house with some furniture, some equipment and a few materials to start with. They have to provide themselves an environment where they can satisfy their needs and survive. Together they will make food, entertain each other, craft equipment, shop online and buy new objects to be placed or used in the house. As the game progresses, the player will improve and expand the house by buying new furniture, survival tools and materials for crafting. The number of animals in the house will increase as the player fulfills certain tasks.

Our project is a GIS(Geographical Information System) based project and its aim is to provide optimization to dealerships of the companies.
Name, owner’s information, open addresses, sales information and geo-codes of dealerships will be held in dealership database. Foot traffic, prize of dealerships per meter square, statistical information and POIs(Point of Interests) will be held in region database. Our algorithm suggests optimal location to investor if a new dealership will be opened and suggest a specific dealership if a dealership needs to be closed. Our system decides whether a location is optimal or not by using statistical information created by using the data in the databases. The suggestions our system makes will be well filtered. A well designed user interface will be designed to improve user experience.

Similarly, users can use Diafano to publish stories, broadcast live events, and contribute to events happening currently anywhere. Diafano will be offered both as an application and as a web service, allowing it to reach a broader audience and get the best overall information and experience. While Diafano makes use of formal news agencies and platforms, its main goal is incorporating people's views of events. It aims to provide a more trustworthy view on events worldwide.

Drector is a mobile application to keep track of drones and quad copters that surrounds you. The aim of application is reaching the information about drone or quad copter. Firstly when user launch the application user will encounter map where he/she can see the drones or quadcopters that is nearby. By clicking the little icon of each drone user can reach information about that drone. This information consists of different things, such as name of drone, name of owner, cause of flight, specifications of drone (this information is optional owner of drone may choose to hide or show some of them). Also, user can view drones around him/her and get information instantly by camera of the phone. Such that, user can convert application to camera mode instead of map mode. In camera mode user can direct his/her camera to the drone and after this application detects drone that is flying, user can inspect drone in detailed way.

Etymøn is an analysis and tracing tool for word origins in all languages. It will be used to review current etymological language families and if possible find new connections that were not already present in current taxonomy. It will accomplish this using a deep learning approach. Etymøn will be a system that contains three main components: deep-learning, augmented-reality with object recognition, and generative dreaming. Etymøn bases most of its functionalities on the etymological map that will be generated by the deep learning algorithm. Etymøn system will include a palpable product in the end as an online application based on this etymological map. The system and its implementation will be broken down into three stages in respect to its components.

The purpose of this project is to solve the human-interaction problem  of visually impaired people in terms of non-verbal communication during video chats. EyeContact is a video chatting platform that aims to assist visually impaired people during video chats by recognizing faces, notifying user whether the person is looking directly to the user, and determining some certain emotions expressed by the person who is talking with the user during video conversations.

Le-Chief is the application that helps students who take chiefeducation. Also it is beneficial application for people who are interested in music. For this project we will use leap motion. With Leap Motion hardware the Le.Chief can get the user’s hand gestures  to coordinate the simulated orchestra. In the background of Le.Chief a DAW software will be running that will get MIDI signals from Le.Chief and produce music. Le.Cheif will be open-source, allowing everyone to work, develop their music as an orchestra chief or
improve existing ones.

With LodeStar, we aim to help people value their time which would otherwise be wasted at the gates of airports by giving them a glance of the destination airport and city. When travelling by plane, especially internationally, passengers must go to the airports early in order finish pre-flight routines. Those routines end up with a lot of freetime. During this time, the mobile application LodeStar features Virtual Reality platform and offers 360º exploring and guiding experience throughout the destination city. It shows how to navigate through the inside of destination airport, where to get a SIM card, rent a car, buy a train ticket or find a taxi and even suggests which one to pick depending on your time and money constraints. From the airport to a hotel or popular touristic stops, LodeStar provides informations, comments, suggestions that user needs during their travel. Although some of these features are available in other apps, LodeStar uniquely combines all of these features while providing VR scenery that adds to user experience. This will help users to effectively use their limited freetime in their journeys. A picture is worth a thousand words, and the 360º guides of LodeStar will outmatch popular means of written or verbal description.

Medical image analysis is widely used among doctors for the purpose of health care assistance and decision support. Many tools have been developed for the purpose of assisting doctors during the diagnosis process. These tools provide a platform for clinical doctors to analyze and visualize the conditions of their patients in much more detail. However, currently most of the medical image analysis tools require their users to download large applications in order to analyze MR images.
Medical Image Processing Online (MedIPO) is a web based application which offers their users a quick and easy way to upload, view, process and analyze MR images online. The system also offers a semi-automated segmentation tool that processes the images and highlights any abnormal mass tissue in the MR images.

This project, namely NeYesem, will be mobile application, and published in Turkish to provide a local nutrition application that aims to help the users track a healthy diet. NeYesem is targeting to reach various users from healthy people to people with chronic disease(s) or allergies.  NeYesem will be based on creating personalized daily/weekly meal plans for the users by using recommendation system. The users will enter their personal information such as height, weight, age, number of meals they prefer, allergies, celiac, diabetes, etc. also, will rate meals by their personal preferences. By the given information, the application will provide personalized meal plan with the constraints of the user. The personalization of the meals will be on entity level, in other words, based on ingredients. This way, NeYesem will be able to provide a healthy diet for the users. To make this process more enjoyable, there will be some achievement for users with target aiming.
This way, in the daily use, users can remain healthy while eating what they like, and having fun.

Pandora is a platform that utilizes mobile phones to allow users to play games based on human interactions. With Pandora , no app or internet required to play games with friends. Basically, our product is a portable server including games that requires human communication and interaction to play. Moreover, Pandora uses captive portal to control mobile phones internet connection and mimics a web server. From the user’s perspective connecting to the device with wifi and opening up the browser is enough to play the games.Our goal is using technology to help users play together and decrease the isolation and lack of connection created by technology itself.

Moreover, communication is 55% body language, 35% is voice tone and 10% what you say. To be a PRO presenter you have to have those skills coordinated. The only way, at the moment, to improve your presentation skills is getting feedback from an expert. However, with PROsentation Android app, you will get feedbacks to your presentation anywhere, anytime. It will ask you to take a presentation video, and then will give feedbacks by analyzing your voice, gestures, postures and emotions by referencing professional presentation standards. At the end, you will get your overall score, in addition to analysis of your voice, gaze and emotions so that you can see where you have made mistakes. Furthermore, you will see in which time intervals of your video, your performance is well or not. Eventually, you will be able to improve your presentation skills.

ProtechKID provides a solution to webcam sexual child abuses by analyzing the molesters on the other side of the webcams. The methodology of ProtechKID follows the three basic techniques to analyze the child molesters. First one is the age detection that enables us to understand that the video talk is between a child and an adult. When the age detection result shows a talk with the disparity in ages, second and third techniques are actualized. These are face and video talk process analyzes that enables to analyze the possibility of being molester of the adult. Overall aim of ProtechKID is to analyze the probability of child sexual abuse statistically on video talks and inform autohorities.

QandA is web application with a main purpose of providing students with Q&A platform for Bilkent University courses. It will be Stackoverflow-like platform. It will also have several different features such as teacher ratings, course materials for sell, private lessons, online sources and announcements. For teacher ratings we will create simple form consisting of maximum five questions which are really important to the students. Course materials is a section for selling and buying course related stuff such as books, FPGA board, notes and etc. In private lessons section, students can find tutor students for help. In online sources, section students can upload useful resources they have found on the web.  Announcements sections can be source of revenue through posting advertisements for university events.

Quex is a mobile social media application which aims to find its users trustworthy individuals to help them with the problems encountered in their daily routine. The program provides a platform that connects the user to an another user with required skills to try and solve any problem that can occur such as computer hardware or software issues, daily decision-making, traveling or dining. The basic principle of the program assumes that there exists a user with a problem, the user notifies the program of that problem and gets assigned to an another user of the program who is close by if that user is considered an expert on the topic based on user background, in-app ratings and user history with similar problems. After matching the users Quex then allows these users to start a conversation in order to come up with a solution.

Sketchy will be an application that will ease drawing, sketching, for both professionals and amateurs. Basically, our program will place virtual images on any material. The sketch on the material will be displayed on the phone’s screen. This will be done by positioning the sketch on the camera image. There will be a crosshair in the middle of the phone screen and the user will initialize the application by aligning the crosshair with the middle of the surface that he/she wants the image to be on. This way user can adjust the place of the image on the surface after he/she changed the position of his/her phone. After that, the user can actually draw the sketch by following it from his/her phone. By using our application everybody, even amateurs who do not know anything about drawing, can draw or sketch easily. Additionally, it will make professionals gain time by decreasing their sketch copying time.

Urbscope is a mobile application that acts as a tourist guide from within the palms of the user. The user interface of the application is simply the camera of the mobile phone. The user needs to point the camera at the landmark (skyscrapers, historical buildings, museums) and Urbscope, using augmented reality, will display all the information that user needs to know about the landmark. In addition, our app also recommends nearby tourist landmarks, cafes, restaurants etc. that user might need to know about during his or her travels.

XNAS(Çapraz Nakil Sistemi), is a software which will be designed to reduce the waiting time of kidney transplant patients. There is an ongoing system, which utilizes a waiting list but it may take a very long time for those in the backs of the lists. Sometimes, a relative of the patient volunteers to donate his/her kidney to the patient, but their tissue type may not be compatible. XNAS aims to collect data of these kind of patients and their relatives, from all around of Turkey, and outputs some matches where every patient gets a kidney provided that their relative participated in a donation to another patient. We will use a bipartite graph to represent patients and their relatives. Matches will be the cycles on this graph, where edges represent the compatability between a relative and a patient.
