A mobile app called Bil-Events which collects and organizes the activities better than the current system in Bilkent University. This app will be done with the purpose of easy access to events in Bilkent,making activities more organized, notifying Bilkenters in a better way, getting more benefits from clubs,increasing the competition between clubs, getting more participant to clubs, increasing the interactions and collaborations between students and lastly pushing club leaders to be more active. Another expectation is to reduce paper consumption caused by posters. |

Deepgame
will be a product/technology that leverages deepfake algorithms in order to
make game characters appear and sound like a real person. This product is innovative since it will use deepfake algorithms for game character customization, which has not been tried in the industry. Games integrating our product will have the option to customize characters via feeding images and recordings to tool’s personalization engine. Afterwards the engine will transfer the input features onto the generic model inside where it can be used in the game. A similar approach will be taken with regards to audio, using recordings to make generic lines sound like spoken by the input person. |

Here is the a brief description of our project idea: It is hard for blind people to navigate. Even indoors, they have a hard time recognizing their surroundings. Using their smartphones, eyeSight is going to analyze the surroundings and give the person using it a constant stream of information. The app is for indoor use only since there will be vital situations outdoors and this would not be appropriate considering the scope of this project. |

ParkHound is a cross-platform application that will help users to find available parking spots in an outdoor parking lot. Currently, this can be done with sensors in an indoor parking lot. ParkHound will provide a similar service without having to install sensors near each of the parking spots using object detection and share this information via an application, so users can see the available parking spots without having to drive around the parking lot. |

The project idea evolved from the positive experience of companies such as Uber and Glovo. These companies use the free time of people and employ them, not contract-based on a specific salary. So this results in a peer-to-peer connection between customers and workers that provide the service. Postal services use employed workers to deliver cargo and mails. Our idea is to employ people that have free time for postal services so that it will be efficient and profitable. Delivery Man will set his/her free time, destination, transport type and postal service will use this data to efficiently send cargoes. Our mobile application will work as a connector not only between postal service and clients but also between postal service and delivery men as they are not permanent workers. Moreover, the sender of cargo/mail can directly talk with the delivery man, define preferable time, and rate his/her work. |

Prelude will be a cloth defect detection software based upon Deep Learning technology. The software will be incorporated into textile factories to increase the speed and accuracy of cloth inspection process, which is currently done by human investigation. Due to the natural limits, human might miss some defects during inspection which leads to faulty cloths that decrease reputation of the company producing the cloth. Hence, automated cloth defect detection software that eases the job of quality assurance officer is needed. Specifically, Prelude will show the position and the type of the defect so that the officer can rapidly locate and fix the error. Prelude will allow the officers to generate a report indicating recurring defects so that the previous processes involved in cloth production can be investigated. |

Psyclog is an application for online psychotherapy sessions. Its main purpose is to improve and facilitate the experience of in-person therapy. The application will be based on a video calling service. Meaning, through a video call, a person who has psychological issues will be able to talk about their emotions and the problems that are troubling them with an expert. This project also aims to eliminate this shame factor of going to a therapist by allowing the therapy sessions to be held remotely so it is planned to deal with the deficiencies of “offline” therapy while preserving the safe and private environment that it offers to patients. |

Qrder is a mobile application that provides autonomous meal order system for restaurants and food halls. Application aims to provide shorter order time and more work efficiency with same number of waiters/waitresses that work in existing order system. Qrder requires a mapping system for each table in restaurant/food hall. Such mapping system is aimed to be provided by using QR code stickers in every table. With mobile application interface, additional features like instant menu modification, quick payment and improvable designs are other expected outcomes of Qrder. |
