In computer graphics, one of the most challenging problem is modeling physical simulation of solid combustion. The reason behind this challenge is the structural complexity, as the simulation of combustion depends on some physical equations that are difficult to implement and model. Even if physical equations are solved, as they are complex, simulations may not run in real-time. In physically based simulations, it is required to keep track of some properties of the object that participates in the simulation. These properties can change and their alteration may affect other physical properties. For example, temperature may affect the density of an object. In this work, we propose a model for solid combustion, deformation of burning wood under combustion by using particle systems. As combustion is the act or process of burning, heat has the most important role within the process. Thus we suggest a new model for heat propagation over the wood.
