Fog Based Data Distribution (F-DADs) Service for IoT Applications

Internet of Things (IoT) is a fairly new paradigm mentioned in 2000s starting by the extensive usage of mobile and portable things that are able to connect to the Internet. All the devices connected to the Internet count as a nodes of the IoT, and also passive RFID devices are part of it. As the number of the nodes increase, the more data is generated accordingly and to overcome how to handle generated data is becoming a crucial problem for the applications. In this research, a simple hybrid Cloud and Fog Computing based architecture is examined for data placement problem for a specific time window and in the proposed architecture for three different goals, different placement algorithms are proposed.
