Distributed Computing Theory Research Group
I received my PhD degree in Computer Science from The University
of Hong Kong in 1997.
At present, I am an Assistant Professor in the Department,
and teaching Theory of Computing, Algorithm I,
and Fundamental Structures of Computer Science II.
Before joining the department,
I had been a visiting assistant professor/guest lecturer/
honorary associate professor
for three years in The University of Hong Kong,
and a lecturer for three years in Hong Kong Polytechnic University.
The subjects I taught cover a wide range of subjects, including
Algorithms,
Computer Architecture and Computer Literacy,
Distributed Computing,
Human Computer Interaction,
Networking,
Operating System, and
Software Engineering.
I have published a few papers in these years.
My principle
research areas
cover some fundamental issues in the
area of distributed algorithms.
Here is a list of my
publications,
but at present it does not contain my two major results which are
TR-2002-17.pdf
and
TR-2002-18.pdf. Having derived these major results,
I am now trying to diversify my research to both theory and
application such as mobile computing and internet computing.
