    This use case enables the Budget Analyst to select available narrative information for certain data elements.

  2. Main Flow of Events
    1. Decision Narrative

Definition: Provides the capability to associate text with a data element field. Currently, text exists for PE, CCN and program fields.

Usage: 1.1 Create Basic Report

  1. Budget Analyst selects 39 = decision narrative {desc}
  2. (System displays data elements on which to control text from breaks chosen - last break chosen is not available.)
  3. Budget Analyst selects data element on which to control text.

{TBD: limited data elements? Is Budget Analyst allowed to choose a break for which no text exists? Yes, produces an error. There seems to be no association between this option and "additional data elements"?}

      1. E-1. Budget Analyst selects data element for which narrative does not exist.

System produces erroneous report.

  1. Participating Actors
  2. Budget Analyst - Any interactive user of the ABIDES-FE Report Break. It is assumed that they require reports to analyze the state of the budget.

  4. Budget Analyst is creating or updating a F&FP Report Break.

  6. System produces report with narrative associated with selected data element.
