Informal talk entitled

It is Consciousness that is valuable, rather than Life

by
Gokturk Ucoluk

Abstract: It is argued that a false value assertion is made by referring to 'Life' as valuable. 'Consciousness' is proposed instead. A 'Life' independent definition of 'consciousness' is given and the components for a measure of the 'level of consciousness' are introduced. A brief discussion follows on some ethical problems that arise.
