i-Vis (Information Visualization) Research Group of Computer Engineering Department at Bilkent University has been performing research and development mainly in the area of graph visualization since 1998.

Specifically the areas that the group is involved in include:

• Cellular pathway visualization and layout,
• Complexity management techniques in graph visualization,
• Compound and clustered graph drawing and layout.

Here is a demo that illustrates the layout algorithms developed by our group.

Among the software tools for which our group provides visualization technologies are Chisio and Cytoscape Web, and the bioinformatics tools developed under the project PATIKA and cBio Cancer Genomics Portal.
